I haven't beeen able to find the name of the model for Sakura. It came off an art site that didn't list her name; but Keira Knightly isn't a bad choice - I'll keep that in mind for future images.

Chaosian Society

Hey, Ghen-ki, I notice that both our characters are doing time... errr, I mean resident in Chaos. Do you think there's a possibility of them having met or having a connection?

Certainly Leslie. Your character has probably been in Chaos for a good deal longer than mine, so depending on how up to date Gizette was on Amber news before and shortly after I arrived, it might have been somewhat of a surprise to find me in Chaos. Both myself and my mother, of house Hendrake, showed up at the same time. Both unexpected. I've probably sought you out to discuss my father, and Amber. We could be friends. My character isn't unfriendly, she just has a dark countenance. That mixed with my house's martial reputation might make her seem a bit unapproachable.

Gizette's information concerning Amber is... scatter-shot at best, so yeah - she'd be surprised. Both that Lucian had a daughter and that she's here in Chaos. And after a stint in Amber.

I think friends makes sense too - as while Gizette can seem ocassionally haunted or sad, she's still pretty much a bubbly personality. And wouldn't be too off-put by a dark countenance. Especially if it came with news of Family and Home. (Despite the fact that Gizette's a long-time resident of Chaos, she still considers herself a Princess of Amber and would loooovvve to chat and reminisce about home.)

Also; if maaayybe Aife was missing her lost opportunity, Gizette is an Amberite. Who can fly.

Well, Lucian often visited the Courts of Chaos(both to be with his wife and for research). Due to that, you may have even stayed in touch with him from the end of the last game up until his death. If so, he would have told you about his daughter since you are family. Since he isn't my link, feel free to make up any sort of interaction with him that you see fit. You probably also know that Lucien was in the proximity of Chaos when he was killed. Rumors in the Court of Chaos have agents from Amber as assassins. As for reminiscence about home, you'd find Aife's knowlege on that topic limited to the first 18 years of life of a woman almost completely confined to Castle Amber and its immediate vicinity (no Golden Kingdom, and little city experience).

I've checked with Ben and he's okay with Gizette being in touch with family members outside of Amber. So yes, if Lucien was in residence in Chaos at a time when Gizette also was, she'd make the effort to touch base. So okay, daughter not a surprise. In which case, Gizette might feel not-so-much maternal toward Aife (besides no one in their right mind gets between a Hendrake mommy and her kid) but probably somewhat big sister-ish. And reminiscence of the Castle is fine enough. Besides, Gizette is fairly hungry for any news of Home and Family she can get. I suppose, though, that after the stories had all been told, the girls would have to do something else. Does Aife recreate in any way? Gizette's not a big one for sparring but is always up for a race or other kinds of sports. (She's not much of an artist or art-appreciater though.)

Aife could be a racing buddy. There are oh so many interesting things to ride near Chaos. As for racing through shadow, Aife will admit that she came to Chaos right before she was to walk the pattern. Therefor the races would probably be of the mundane single shadow Chaos mutant war squirrel Vs. Levitating giant thunder hippo variety. Pretty good racer too. We both have pretty good Endurance as I recall. Aife has a shadow that she has pretty good control over near Chaos where she likes to hang out. I've probably surprised you with a custom tailored course a few times. As I recall, Bleys turned out to be shockingly good at warfare. If you think he would be open to it, he might be a sparring buddy of mine.

Okay, no racing through Shadow. Besides, Gizette would have to admit, the locals get a little uppity when one tears through the vicinity using Ordered abilities.

Aife is soooo on for the Mutant War Squirrel vs Levitating Thunder Hippo race! That sounds right up Gizette's alley. (And while I haven't seen the Attribute Ladder - I'd be willing to bet that, yes, Gizette's Endurance is pretty good.)

Customized race tracks are sweet, really sweet of Aife. C'mon, let's go try 'em out!

Bleys as a sparring buddy would be up to Bleys. Gizette has sense enough not to make promises for a red-head. (So that'd be up to the GM.) But yeah, during the Battle with Benedict, Bleys was doing... pretty well.
